Our plans are designed to achieve exceptional environmental performance. We have designed the building to target EPC A+ and BREEAM Outstanding standards. In simple terms, placing it among the UK’s top-performing industrial buildings for energy efficiency.
To achieve this, we are incorporating advanced, highly efficient technologies and innovative design solutions throughout the development. This includes rooftop solar panels which help power the facility and reduce reliance on external energy generation. We are also committed to using sustainable building materials and construction methods. This strong environmental focus not only leads to operation savings for Palletways but also contributes to a more sustainable future for the local area.
Biodiversity and landscaping
A scheme that works for wildlife
Part of our commitment to sustainability includes considering how our scheme impacts local wildlife. The site is currently in agricultural use and, as such, offers limited opportunities for biodiversity.
As we bring forward our plans, we are exploring opportunities to positively shape the local area, creating new and diverse habitats that will actively enhance local ecology. We are committed to delivering a 10% Biodiversity Net Gain through on and off-site programmes.

Our proposals at Fradley include areas of natural landscaping which will feature native species planting and trees.
Alongside a new foot and cycle path which will wind itself through site, Prologis plan to install bike stores & electric vehicle charging to support sustainable travel options.
